A delegation visit to World Expo 2025
In July 2025, the Institute of Directors’ Japan Business Group led a visit to Japan centred around the UK Pavilion at World Expo Osaka, with additional engagements in Tokyo. The programme brought together IoD members, partner trade associations, and senior business representatives to support and strengthen UK–Japan commercial collaboration.
The visit was delivered with the support of UK and Japanese institutions, including the City of London Corporation, the UK Department for Business and Trade, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), and the Osaka Prefectural Government.
My role, process & execution
I worked closely with the Japan Business Group Chair to design and deliver the delegation’s core visual materials, including a fully digital bilingual brochure, supporting social media assets, and printed event badges. The brochure presented key information, schedules, and delegation context in a structured, digital-first format suitable for use throughout the visit.
The publication was designed to function seamlessly in both English and Japanese, using a toggle-based language switch to allow users to navigate content clearly and efficiently. It was hosted online to prioritise accessibility across devices and to support interactive elements such as clickable navigation, enabling quick reference during meetings and events.
