The Lord
Mayor’s Show
In November 2024, the Institute of Directors took part in the Lord Mayor’s Show, one of London’s most iconic civic traditions, dating back over 800 years. This historic procession celebrates the inauguration of the new Lord Mayor with a spectacular display of pageantry through the City of London, broadcast live on the BBC and featuring thousands of participants, floats, and marching bands.
Collaborating with the events team, I led the design and production of a range of branded assets for the Institute of Directors’ participation, including processional flags, hand-held flags, umbrellas, apparel and inflatable balloons. The project involved supplier coordination, artwork preparation, production oversight and budget considerations to ensure all materials were delivered on time and to specification. Together, these assets created a consistent and highly visible presence for the organisation throughout the procession.
